S. Nuri Bilal is the sole creator, writer, and artist behind Adventures of Black Muslimahs: The SupaSistas! — published under Ebony Reverie Comics, an imprint of SupaVerse Studios LLC.
The series was incubated over four years and launched in December 2025. Set in Newark, NJ — where Bilal is from — and built for the readers who were never on the shelves.
A 200-issue shared universe is in production, spanning two series and ten volumes. The work is functional, not performative, and requires no justification pitch.
